Starter pack used to form an army for the school campaign.
Wanted these to be similar, but different, to the Dark Elves, they are white with blue wash and white highlighting, all metal is silver with a blue wash, then silver highlights.

The General (who went AWOL and returned)

The Mage (Goblin Exploder)

Heavy Cavalry (last time they were fielded they were scared off by a bunch of Goblin archers, so much for elites)!

Mix of armoured and unarmoured swords-elves

Spears

Bows

I like how you've done the whites. I'm hopeless at painting white, for some reason. It just goes funny when I paint it  :-\
The blues on the shields and flag look rather smashing, too.
Rimmer: "Aliens."

Lister: "Oh God, aliens... Your explanation for anything slightly peculiar is aliens, isn't it?

Rimmer: "Well, we didn't use it all, Lister. Who did?"

Lister: "Rimmer, aliens used our bog roll?"

I use Vallejo Deck Tan in place white on the figure  now. It looks like white once painted on but just a little less stark
If I were creating Pendraken I wouldn't mess about with Romans and  Mongols  I would have started with Centurions , eight o'clock, Day One!

I used blue ink over white undercoat, then I use at least a two star artists acrylic paint, a no2 brush and two goes at it...

In all honesty these days  I try and avoid painting any form of white at all...Never liked it

I use Vallejo 918 Ivory or 884 Stone Grey, as well as Deck Tan, instead of white, when I want a little more warmth. I still use white for some belts and straps.

What do elves get high on, I've always wondered?
