I bought these in the 'January' Sale this year, but have been taken up by one of the lads at school for his Campaign force.
Naked fanatics not painted (to be safe), more reinforcements arriving soon.

Warlord (posted elsewhere, but now leading this mob)

Shamen

Buffalo riders

Bows

Swordsmen (ordered a pack of each, the shielded guy comes from the shielded pack, but I thought he looked noble enough to lead a unit).

Spears

Question is, do I buy them a MAMMOTH!

These are a really nice set of armies.

And of course you need a Mammoth.

And once the Barbarians have a Mammoth, then everyone else will want their own big stompy monster!

Yep, nice armies. If they don't inspire the kids, I don't know what will.

Is there a good reason NOT to have a mammoth?
(Apart from the fact that they are extinct of course...)

Does anyone have a second to measure the height and length of the mammoth? I need a big beast that will fill a 40x40 base!

Leman

Well they had them in 10,000BC (I think that was the film title - they were assisting in building pyramid-like structures).

It fits happily on a 40x20 WM base - well the tusks overhang a lot. It will look good on a 40x40

My Mammoth isn't extinct.  We do need a bigger garage though.
I have neither the time nor the crayons to explain why you are wrong.

Brilliant Fred, thanks for that! I'll be getting one to use as a Sharpstick Slasher!

Leman

The last time I flocked my geese they got all flappy on me.
