Hi guys cant find any ...anywhere any tips for London shops....

kustenjaeger

Greetings

I believe Airfix still do the Opel Blitz with 7.5cm PAK and the Bedford QL and QLT (they are on Amazon UK).  Of course these are really 1/76 but there are London stockists http://www.airfix.com/stockists/england/?q=&postcode=London&said=&Search=Search

Hasegawa do a GMC truck.

Also try Hannants in North London for virtually everything - http://www.hannants.co.uk/ - for a search of plastic injection 1/72 and trucks http://www.hannants.co.uk/search/index.php?adv=1&product_category_id=&product_division_id=&manufacturer_id=&product_type_id=1899&code=&scale_id=956&keyword_search=truck&setPerPage=25&sort=0&search_direction=0&save_search_name=&save_search=

Modern or WWII

If WWII no idea except Hasegawa - US tanker, easy to convert, the Opel, Fujimi did some Japanese soft skins.

Modern (ish) - Hannates as above - doing a sale on the JB range which has a Bedford TK in it. Deuce and 1/2  will work well, Airfix did one.
Pound land/99p Shop etc often have diecasts of the right size for pick-ups.

PS - got some spare US WWII 6x6 for sale.

How picky are you? I tend to buy die cast 20-30-40-50's ish stuff at car boots or markets, spray them up military colours, quick wash and a weather and go. Quid a piece and ten mins painting time, looks about right at gaming distance unless you explicitly want a Bedford QLD or whatever.

And as most peoples transport parks used a hodge podge of stuff (esp. the Germans!) it's probably not too far off reality ;)

Superb :)

Amazon is handy, and eBay very much so - there's often battered but fine with a spray & wash & base stuff comes up for little more than postage!
