I think the OP may be referring to the Humber Scout Car (distinct from all the above) and used as a command and liaison vehicle - used in the same role as the Daimler scout car ('Dingo).  See http://www.primeportal.net/trucks/de_craecker/humber_walk.htm

That sir is a matter of opinion  :) Personally I think it looks much better in Green  ;D
