Another important group for 1914 on both fronts are the German Landwehr wearing shako including machinge gunners.  Anyone else see these as useful?

Wouldn't the Jager GP15 & HMG in shako GP4 packs work for these?

There are also landwehr in the FPW range, as well as jager in shako.

Thanks guys.

I am also using FPW inf to represent a battalion who still had the blue tunic.

Many of the Landwehr actually wore the feldmutz flat cap in the field if you want a bit of variety.
When you realise we're all mad, life makes a lot more sense.

Wouldn't mind them but then wouldn't mind lots of other things for WW1.  Would find them useful on the Eastern Front as currently toying with the idea of using austrian Infantry in cap mixed in with Jagers (have to do some judicious filing ;)  )  Probably only need about 36 Figures in 3 units, plus half bases, plus casualties so not a major need for my forces (but that said I they were lovely I could always be tempted.........)

There's a generic dead figure in tunic without headgear in the C19th range; very useful.
