Placing horses in artillery limbers

Specifically the WSS ones (though I have some oxen on order for this)

the limbers come with 2 horses, and the limber itself has two shafts, with room for 1 beast between them.  Where do you intend the second to be placed, left, right or straight ahead?
I have neither the time or the crayons to explain why you are wrong.
