British Artillery limbers Sudan

While gun carriages were painted blue-grey, I cannot discover whether limbers followed the same scheme of painting. Can anyone tell me how I should paint the limbers for the Sudan Campaign 1883-5? Many thanks.

I have gray ones too, but I bet they were a nasty dusty shade pretty soon! Spray the entire army khaki and save time.

I have been very tempted to take that path, especially when painting Highland regiments.......
