All done safely, without any problems at all. (By rights the hole should have 'knitted' already...only takes six hours for it to heal apparently.)

Seemed a little bit of a palaver, to have to go all the way over to the hospital, to have it removed, when the nurse down at the local surgery could have done it.
Got to go and see her tomorrow, to remove the dressing and check everything's OK......That's if the dressing's still in place...It seemed to be falling off almost as soon as it was put on. I think they should have used duct tape rather than the 'stickies' they actually used.

Another trip to a different hospital next week to see the consultant...which again seems a tad over the top....Then a blood test in 5 weeks, and go and see the consultant again a week after that !

I'll be SO glad when this is finally done and dusted.

I found that absolutely astounding too, Nobby.....I want to take the dressing off and see whether it's true....But I'll wait until tomorrow, and try and be a good boy, and do as I'm told.

I'm having some time off. Doing some "life laundry", and rearranging my painting table.

Splashed out on a Vallejo paint stand, and am quite surprised to find that I have filled it!

My question is, when did I buy fluorescent paints?  :o English Uniform,  Luftwaffe Cam Green, fluorescent Orange? Doesn't go.

I don't think Leon did an Ocado and substituted my Olive Green with florescent yellow.  :-\

Does anyone have an examples of when one would use fluorescent paint?

In other news.

I had cause to strip the paint off some Sunderland aircraft I'd painted. As recommended somewhere in the forum, I used Dettol.

A night in the tub, and the paint fell off. As an added benefit my house smells hospital clean.  :D
