Can't decide which animals are the biggest pains in the backside....Sheep or chickens. (Or dogs)

All we had to do last night was a quick 'skip out' on the horses, and then pop down to the local Chinese restaurant and pick up a takeaway, courtesy of the MIL.

Interrupted while doing the horses, by the frantic sound of a chicken being savaged by the collie......Rescue chicken from bramble undergrowth......Catch chicken, and put it back in the pen.
Wash blood off hands from all the scratches  from the brambles.

Finish off horses.....Go and check sheep that had had fly strike....She's managed to get stuck on her side and been lying in the rain for ? long and was cold, shivery and exceeding wobbly on her feet.
Try and entice sheep in to the barn, with a bucket of feed.
No...She can't move well, at all.
Go and get wheelbarrow......Pick up sheep, and put in wheelbarrow.....Hold sheep down in wheelbarrow, while Mrs T steers the barrow.
Put sheep in stable....Go back and get another sheep as company for the poorly one. (It's peeing down with rain, all this time.....PAH !)

Mrs T 'towels off' poorly sheep......Get feed for them.

Order takeaway.

Eat late !

Whether the sheep survives ? Who knows ?.....But she's hanging in there this morning.

If he was still alive.....Freddie Mercury would have been 70 today.  :o
(Apparently, he's now got an asteroid named after him.)

I haven't sat a horse for about eight years ! (And have no intention of ever trying again.)

Last time I did, I got mighty close to breaking my neck.  X_X

Served me right for sitting on it bare back, and with no reins of any description.
I got bucked off !.....It hurt.
