I took a week off and went to see my daughter.

We went to see the Scottish Korean War Memorial - which is very simple, and somehow moving.

We also lunched in Linlithgow, and I was slightly disappointed that the museum's acknowledgment of the battle consisted of a single diorama.  There was, however, a very early clocking in machine.

My painting chair is now on my painting desk and has become the work surface. I stand to do do all my painting and basing and am now completely free of back ache for the first time in two years.

I 'self referred' myself for physio a few months ago, and was given a number of exercises to do.......They HAVE helped...But not totally got rid of the ache. (some days the back whinges 'in a different way'.)

Still doing the exercises....Even though I've been 'signed off', now.

Still, it might just work at the bar in a pub - just don't dip your paint brush in your beer!

I think the bar at my local is the right height for the stools.

And as I'm using art pens to colour in MDF flats I don't have to worry about washing my brush in my beer.

I tend to avoid pubs where there are stools on the bar - terribly unhygienic I believe.
