Will there be a grenadier figure Leon? Same uniform but with a small plume on the left side of the helmet. These were used in 1809 and could also be used as later Bavarian light company figures, where the plume was green as opposed to grenadier red.

We've now got the artillery crews, and limber teams through for the Bavarians.  These will be going into the drawer with the other Bavarians, ready for a full range release soon.

Lovely animation on those figures, definitely on my list.

Great figures, once again.

Hertsblue

Great. Confirms my theory that some of the nicest figures depict the most useless troops.  =)

Really looking forward to the full range release! And to painting them!

Nice to see a gunner with a match -- and a gunner on the march!

I'm a tad concerned that the helmets of the two Bavarian line infantry figures (that potentially I could be painting hundreds of) are too conservatively low and Austrian-like and not wildly high and Raupenhelm-esque enough.

It might just be the angle of the photo with the figures head-on to the camera?  The firing ones look OK next to them:

Yes, the Lights do look much better, especially the one modelled all in putty. My concern in this head-on angle:

He has a point, y'know. The Bavariian helmet was particularly high-crowned.

The helmet really was so tall that there was a serious suggestion that mess-tins should be designed to fit inside it.

Time for Dave to get the green stuff out again.  :)

Complete with the grenadiers' plume that Rob requested. It's interesting that the chain doesn't hang as in the illustrations above but is unusually tucked under the crest.
