We've had these on the side for a while now, so I thought it was about time I got some pics of them for everyone to enjoy!  This group adds some much needed variety to the vehicle section of the SCW range, and adds some items which have been seen on the requests lists several times.

First up we've got the Lancia IZM, with a quick paintjob by Dave:

These were based on an Italian truck chassis, and just over 100 of them were produced, in two variations.  The initial version had an extra turret on top of the main one, but only 10 of these were produced, before the design was modified.  This updated version kept the main twin-MG turret and the wire cutters on the front.  This one could possibly sneak into a WW1 game as well, but it was really only used in a training capacity.

Next we've got a much smaller pair, the Trubia M36 tank, and the UNL-35:

The Trubia was produced in Spain, and saw several modifications from it's initial production run in 1926, and eventually ended up at the Trubia Naval or 'Modelo 1936', which was a lot smaller and than the original version.  Around 20-25 were produced overall.

The UNL-35 (Union Naval de Levante) was designed by a Soviet engineer and was inspired by the Soviet FAI.  Production began at the beginning of 1937, and after a relocation of the factory due to air raids in 1938, total production could possibly have hit 130 of these.

And all three lined up together:

These three have all been designed and modelled by new Forum member John Cook, so make sure to pass the praise his way!

Thanks very much.  Made purely out of self interest!

BTW the headlamp and supporting strut on the IZM goes horizontal, not vertical, and braces the wire cutters in front of the radiator grill.

They're destined for a plastics mould, so if we can get them sent off next week we could have the mould back to us at the Derby show.  If that works out, then we could try and get them into the November releases.

Hi Leon

Looking forward to these. Are the Trubia and UNL-35 coming in 1 or 2 to a pack?

Harking back to List of Vehicles for 2012 http://www.pendrakenforum.co.uk/index.php/topic,4655.msg40740.html#msg40740 have the Seabrook Armoured Car, BA-10 or Lancia 3RO truck broken the surface yet?

Did the Russian vehicles shown here http://www.pendrakenforum.co.uk/index.php/topic,4625.msg40170.html#msg40170 ever get released?

Cheers

Not sure on the quantities of the smaller two, we'll wait and see how much metal they use I think.

We've got the Seabrook here, so I'll get some pics of that taken before it goes away for moulding.

On the Russian vehicles, they needed a bit of tweaking, but they should be about ready now.  I'll check where we are with those, and see if we can get them added into the November batch of releases.
