Recently acquired 1:144th Japanese aircraft for the Burmese conflict. A C6N1 Saiun (Val) torpedo/level bomber by Crown and Ki-43-II "Oscar" and Ki-84 "Frank" fighters by LS. All Nakajima aircraft. Adverrtised on E-Bay as "used" but all boxed and still on their sprues. Now all I need is some Allied planes to oppose them. Anyone know who does any blue/white Allied Pacific roundel decals?

There's some in the I-94 selection here: http://www.minibits.net/BR-106-p656/

They're listed at 1:285th, but they do have a variety of sizes on the sheet?

I'm liking this message line, it shows me that I am not the only one who is 'spinning' many plates on the painting table!! ;D

As I am overseas working for the next 5 weeks I have more time to paint, as long as work does not interrupt too much......

So on my table are....

15mm Napoleonic French foot and artillery, about 100 figures, 6 guns and limber + gun crews, a commission
15mm FoW Hungarian artillery men, 62 figures, a commission
15mm FoG/HC ancient Spanish for my Carthaginian Army, 108 figures
15mm FoG/HC Carthaginian Spearmen, 48 figures
Dystopian Wars 7 Prussian airships for my fleet and various scenery pieces for the PAW Club's show game

So I have my work cut out but that is what being away from home allows me! LOL

Check my blog for what I have done so far...enjoy

No idea mate - but, having watched Layer Cake again last night, I think (on careful consideration) that you'd be better off with a Sienna Miller:

Slack couple of weeks painting wise - but finally managed to finish another 10 commando's for Bolt Action
I don't think my wife likes me very much, when I had a heart attack she wrote for an ambulance.

Taking full advantage of the pending redundancy, today I have been given the day off to do some job searching...

Now thats out of the way (read the jobs page, several websites, one application completed and three CV's sent out) I have lined up some more BA commando's. :D

A PIAT Team, a 2" Mortar Team, an FAO/Spotter, a Sniper team and a few extra riflemen to pad out some of my squads.

Every cloud has a silver lining ;)

pics of those 'done' (less basing) at http://nosherswargames.blogspot.co.uk/2012/11/bolt-action-commandos.html

Having had a brief respite post MadFest, I'm now working on some 2mm SYW forces for use with Maurice (and possible other rulesets) and some Socialist forces for the AVBCW milieu.

Yep - not much on the painting front for me post-MADFest either, but I have:

- assembled some 6mm FUBAR / FWC forces [I know, I know...total fecking heresy]
- scratch-built some 6mm sci-fi terrain
- assembled some 2mm forces for Maurice [I blame that SteveJ fella]
- umpired a cracking FPW game last night...pics to follow...
- started planning for MADFest 2013  :)

Having got most of the 1:144th aircraft needed for Kursk, (note to Zvezda and/or Revell: we need a Petlyakov Pe-2 and a Henschel Hs 129, please) we now turn to tanks. Panzer III Ls & Ms to be precise. Something like 45% of all the German tanks in 2 SS Panzer Corps were the ubiquitous threes. Ah well, time to get spraying, methinks.  ;)

A couple of productive days have seen me finish 9 infantry stands plus support units for my AVBCW socialists. Just the CO and HQs to do which should be nice and quick. These are required for a forthcoming game with Craig next Saturday, our first bash since June!!!
