Olympic-level understatement!
I don't drink coffee to wake up. I wake up to drink coffee.

Boxed of my first Belgians earlier, including battalion and company markings on the rear of the bases. Have started Bavarian cavalry and artillery for Froeschwiller, so things moving nicely (except a mate wants me to produce 4 ECW cuirassiers to playlets some rules).

I was sitting around last night, but not in a painting mood. Instead decided to create some Belgian lancers. Using the 'old' PP Guide figure (yes, they've been replaced by a more 'dynamic' one-piece casting) I took off the heads, drilled holes and fitted Isabellino heads to produce the lancers in their undress bonnets de police, which they adopted on campaign so as not to be mistaken for German Uhlans.

It appears that playtest gets autocorrected to playlets (presumably by a miniature Shakespear).

20 lancers created. Short of four heads, plus heads for the dismounted  and my hands hurt now.

Carrying on with the final code of the Wood Elves.

Suddenly sussed what I'll be doing with the very final pose....To begin with, this pose didn't appear to give a lot of scope for much in the way of conversions.
I'd better leave myself a note about this.....Otherwise I'll have forgotten by tomorrow.  :-[ X_X

(And then I'll be ALL cross)  ;)
