Have a heart; some of us weren't born in the EU.
I don't drink coffee to wake up. I wake up to drink coffee.

Nor was I! They just joined up whilst my back was turned.

I was reading the Hotspur at the time.

I think that probably happened to an awful lot of us. The country went decimal when I was 6th form dinner money monitor (and I didn't even stay for school dinners).
The artist formerly known as Dour Puritan!

Sylmasta, Matey.

£8.82 inc VAT. (+p&p 'natch')...I buy about 6 reels a go to get it for £8.40 'per'..... From memory, it's no more expensive on the postage if you 'bulk buy'.
For smaller jobs, you won't need anything like that quantity though....and it does deteriorate a little over time if it's not used....or kept really cold.
I get through a reel in one to two months.......and I reckon I waste between 50 and 90% when I'm working on really wee men.(6 and 10mm 'scale'.)

Whereas one uses a pack of milliputt c.6", lasts about a year!
Somewhat doubt I will be doing this professionally...  @-)

Scored in the armour patterns on the Mongol EHC. Looks okay, but no way near as good as the professionals!

After a lovely day out with the family (photos on faceache), whilst the Amazing Mrs Lemmey watched Mr Depp and Ms Jolie in 'The Tourist' (is it a remake, or have we seen it before? Either way highly enjoyable film), I carried of with a Danish Guard unit for LOA. I put two more layers of highlights on coats, completed flesh highlights, sorted muskets barrels and woodwork and then went through the lovely point where the black goes on; when the figures go from meh to wow!
A good night's painting.
