Does somebody have "Ranger!" rules for French Indian War?
I wonder if it is playable with 10mm figures. Also, is it good? Not too complicated?

Thanks for link and information. It seems however that this new edition of Ranger rules will not be released soon. I could not find any news about it.

I have Ranger! (and Minuteman the AWI version.) They were the first wargame rules I brought quite some time ago, so they hold a nostalgic place in my heart!

The basic unit is a company with 1 figure = 10 men (depicted by six 15mm figures on a 40mm x 40mm stand or six 25mm figures on a 60mm x 60mm stand.) Casualty removal is by removing the figures from the stand. However, it would be simple to have a stand of 40mm x 20mm with your 10mm figures on and just record hits on a roster sheet or something similar.

As for game size you could play Braddocks defeat (this is included in the rules) but Quebec would be a little too big.

The rules really capture the feel of the FIW and include some fun rule systems to simulate scouting, officers getting killed and the difficulty of line troops in the forest.

A great set of rules.
