Reminds me a little of a scenario that was in Wargames Illustrated years ago, based on a chapter from a Sven Hassel novel "At 11 o'clock the Germans will be blown sky-high".  Basically Fritz takes the hill and then Ivan wrests it back again.  IIRC it gave an OOB but what rule system it was based on I don't know; Will have to see if I can dig it out; Should be a file somewhere, but where is teh question
