About a month ago I added a post to my blog about what I use for 10mm dirt roads. If you’re looking for roads or looking to upgrade than this post maybe helpful. Here’s the link: http://btsherman.6sided.net/2012/02/27/10mm-roads/

They do look pretty good. Amazing the difference a little wash and flock can make, though the thickness (height) of them still puts me off.

LKM (now Quick Reaction Force) used to do them a few years back. Rather expensive for what they were IMHI.

Terra Firma Studios in the UK (http://terrafirmastudios.co.uk/Flexibleroads.aspx) produce them at a reasonable price.

Looking at the examples I suspect that they use the caulk method.

Looks pretty straightforward. Anybody know if it can be used for smooth metalled roads? I have a requirement for a section of 1/300th dual carriageway (yes, honestly).
