Edward your question about pictures of the Pz 111 late varients, have you thought about Bovington Tank Museum.   I found them very helpful.

I go to Bovington once a year or so and I'm OK (I think) on the key differences between the various Ausf (recognising that there were retrospective changes etc in various cases - one of the Panzer IVs at the museum is a case in point IIRC).

My real question was too see a picture of the Pendraken model (GR127) to see what the particular J model has on it - the J changed mid production from a short 5cm to a long 5cm gun. The J also featured addiitonal spaced armour which differentiated it from the earlier models.   However I've realised I have a GR127 myself which I compared to the L's I have as well as to the various photos.  The Pendraken GR127 has the long L60 5cm KwK and the mantlet and the barrel shape are different for the L42 5cm KwK mounted on the Ausf G/H and early J so my hopes for self-modifying GR172 don't seem to be good.

Regards

Edward

Just to update, the LVTP-7 arrived with us at the WMMS show, and it looked awesome.  I should really have taken some pics, but it went straight off to get moulded, so we'll hopefully have it back here soon.

No sci-fi vehicles?!!   :'(
It's all depending on your viewpoint. If you're doing 1930's based AVBCW, then a Centurion, T55 or LVTP-7 are science-fiction ...  ;)

LVTP-7 is an easy convert for Sci-Fi. Odd vehicle to do first - the Cent and T55 series would be more popular perhappes.

There's nothing about AVBCW that could or should be described as 'science'!   ;D

Well, except for Heath Robinson science i suppose... :D

Of course historical vehicles can be kit bashed (especially for things like Wierd World War Two) but far better to have proper sci-fi models...

Ah well...maybe 2013 then?   :(
