Leon asked me to post pics of a project I've been working on for some time. Not great photos but they are all I have.

Type 1

Type 4

Type 5

Type 3

Type 3 chassis with some weapons options fitted

Type 6

Type 6 chassis with some weapons options fitted

There are several main weapon options for the Type 3 and Type 6, ranging from AT guns to Howitzers of both British and German origin,

Also 'sponson' mount Bofors 40mm and Twin 20mm AA weapons designed to fit the Type 3 and 6 but could be made to fit the others.

There are also 4 different styles of legs as you can see in the photos.

Cheers,

Kev

Nice.
Don't like the first, seems...weird.

My favorite is the last one.

Neat, these are cool, not my thing but still cool

I'm not sure about Type 5. Perhaps it is a bit to rounded in both the turret and the legs?

Great stuff!

Types 1, 4, and 5 are the best.

Thanks guys.

The 'axle' could use being a little shorter on the Type 1, but it is a universal piece for all the walkers, (apart from the Type 6 that has a unique axle unit that allows the 'body' to be rotated).

All leg styles will fit all the different bodies, modular versatility was key to the design.

Cheers,

Kev

Just caught this thread after talking to Leon yesterday at Warfare. Nice work.

Unlike some people, I feel under no obligation to pretend that only one war-gaming scale is true, and that any others 6mm/10mm/15mm/25mm are mistaken; or that I know better than people themselves what is right for them to use. The point is precisely for all war-gamers to decide for themselves.
