I read somewhere, that way back when, we used our hand to count on and that is counting in base 5 which would translate 11-11-11  into  6-6-6 

It that correct cuz counting in base always made me throw pencils at the teacher

Unfortunately it would be 21-21-21, no #6 in base five

I think you are at cross purposes
11 in base 5, is 1 x 5 + 1 x 1, which is 6 (in base 10)
21 in base 5, is 2 x 5 + 1 x 1, which is 11 (in base 10)

I've been checking on the diagrams and there's first base, second base, third base and the home plate.

Well, if we use Meatloaf's "Paradise by the Dashboard Light" as our road-map, then fifth base would probably get you arrested in many parts of the USA!
