Well Pendraken obviously, Baccus6mm, Impetus forum, TMP, Saxon Dog Blog and Benno's Figures.  Oh, Angelbarracks as well and BKC forum.

If someone handed you £100 right now, what would you buy?
Heating Oil and 2 tyres for my car, but wargaming related it would be WW1 stuff in readiness for GWSH2.

What has been your biggest one-off purchase?
Oh, 30 quid when I bought some of the Grenadier 28mm Fantasy Warrior box sets in the early 90's.

PAINTING AND MODELLING IT!

How many hours a week do you paint?
10 maybe.

What kind of technique do you use?
Basic colours over a black undercoat then a black enamel wash then a small amount of highlighting...this could all change next week.

Do you have a preferred brand of paint?
Vallejo.

Do you have a painting area? And do you have a pic?
I do, just a 5x2 foot painting area means I can leave all my paints etc out ( Still not cat proof though).

Have you had any painting/modelling disasters?
Some would say everytime I get the brush out, but apart from the old primer instead of varnish spray disaster nothing really.

Yeah its grest war spearhead ...Apparantly it will be out soon but the end of the world is coming as well
If I were creating Pendraken I wouldn't mess about with Romans and  Mongols  I would have started with Centurions , eight o'clock, Day One!

so is that WW1 at divisional level ? WW1 is a fascinating period and one that is always on the edge of my gaming horizon but i've never quite got round to doing anything about it

Yeah, the first set was an add on to the original spearhead, and the rules work really well even for the supposed static trench warfare of 1915-1917. Arty Concliffe is takin his time about it though I think this is because he's also working on Tactica 2 at the same time

I should give cdredit to a lot of the members of the GWSH yahoo group ( I havnt done that much)who have driven the process on for a few years now

I also like to play 'If the Lord Spares us' the Two fat Lardies Middel East set

Good interview Steve. :)
Cheers - Mr Tardy. ;)

Great interview, Fenton. I do have a 1914 German infantry division and equivalent Russians in 15mm. I could never get my group interested though.  :(
When you realise we're all mad, life makes a lot more sense.

Great interview and some interesting answers ... plus one or two disturbing ones ... I mean, Debbie Harry or Goldie Hawn how can that even be a choice??

Like the idea of the format too - a sort of Wargamer's Desert island discs :)

Go ahead and fantasize about young teenage boys if you must, but posting it in a public forum might be giving evidence to the prosecution when you're arrested! verb. sap.
