Yes, I did the archers first, hence no close up shots of those. This seems to be a very forgiving scale to work with and looking forward to doing much more particularly Phil's Republican romans when they go into production, they look like they'll paint up lovely. However these little buggers took literally months, I don't get much time to paint and I'm a bit of a purist, so no drybrushing/overbrushing or magic washes. I can't do Nik's speed painting (just bonkers, really I mean I couldn't paint a stand in 1h 30mins let alone an army!).
