Is it the guard artillery horse riders, limber passengers and casson passengers that we are talking about? He so, at somepoint I know I will end up doing the guard, so put of down for a few!

Yes Lemmey, that is exactly what we are asking for! My French guard guns are being hauled about by lignards, no wonder they perform so badly. Not much to ask for, really. Oh, and Leon, while you are about it, any chance of some Austrians riding limber horses? Their limbers look a bit odd with men sitting on the limber, hanging on for dear life, and no-one up on the horses. It'd certainly scare the living daylights out of me.

Well, there were no Austrian limber horse riders with the twenty some limbers I just bought. We have, French, Prussian, Bavarian, Wurttemberg riders, but no Austrians. Sigh.

Not to be a heretic, but would the Wurttemburgers work at a pinch?

I used the wurttemburgers for the limber of the Brunswick battery, it was ok, but it's very far from the French guards. It's really two men sitting and one man on a horse, the rest is already in your catalogue, please, please, please.....

Slightly off topic - but just completed my revamped Guard Corps with the newer range of 1870 figures and will post pics in next week or so - afraid still have to use line caisson teams to show the heavy batteries!

Old figures but mounted riders clearly identifiable. Does it really matter ... no on second thoughts I'll take that back *ducks*

Leon,
Close, but not quite a cigar. If I am going to do twenty or so limbers, and want forty or so limber riders, I am not keen to start fiddling about with shakos and plumes and the like. Curious though, that your old range had them. O tempora, o mores!
Regards,
Mollinary
PS Is anyone else getting fed up with this predictive, auto completion/correction software which mangles straightforward Wargaming folk's English?

Right guys,
Sorry about the thread necromancy, but I am going to get Techno to do this. I will pay for the figures needed, but what I would like from you guys is images of the Guard limber crews and suggestions for figures to convert from.
At the moment, my idea runs like this:
Take FPW17 the normal limber riders and out riders, remove torsos.
Use the bodies of FPW13b for a model.
Add fluffy 'busby'.
Process to be repeated wth outriders.

Fluffy 'busbys' ?....
I'm your man !
We'll sort something out between us 'toot sweet' Lemmey !
I'll 'mail 'THE MAN' (That's you Leon !
) and ask for some metal masters of the appropriate figures.
Looks like a 'chop and change job'.....Once I get a chance to start I'll start posting piccys for feedback.
Cheers - Phil. (Aka...Mr Busy Bee !
