Nice to see a BIG battle in progress. You seem to have a fair mix of nationalities. 8)
When you realise we're all mad, life makes a lot more sense.

No not 1 to 1 yet, we are using 1 to 20 or there about, and using a great set of rules called Fredericus Rex, it is a free set of rules which you can find in the Lace wars Yahoo groups files section.

Neal use 24 fig battalions but we bumped it up to 37 figs, 32 with 5 on the command stand. He has a really interesting take on army moral.

What it entails is that you count how many units you have then divide by 3 or 4 depending on your nationality. Then you roll that many d10s then add these up to get your total Army Morale chip points. These are then used to force the opponent to take morale checks, in addition you need to use one to attempt to rally, you also lose one when one of your units routs.

So there are no morale checks unless you make your opponent check by using one of your Army morale Chips. When you run out you can not force the opponent to check morale and worse you can not recover routed units. A very interesting take on army morale!

The combat is rather standard but interesting.

You play with what rules ? :-\

As WKeyser mentioned in the above post, we are using a rule set called "Fredericus Rex" - a free rule set available through the Lace War Yahoo group

Simply Fab guys, people just dont realise the hours, days, months that go into a game like that.  Ive spent the last 3 years painting a Saxon, French, Russian  Napoleonic set of armies.  72 Inf Batts (34 figs) 30 Cav Regts (30 figs) + Arty -  aye Im sick to the eyeballs of painting but they look good on the table.
Keep gaming
