Just as a random bit of info, we acquired the start of our resin range many years ago at a show.  A chap on the stand next door was closing down his resin business and selling off the last of his stock.  Dave purchased it all off him along with the production rights.  This was the first 25-30 codes in our range.  The ruined buildings are actually slightly larger than our other 10mm terrain, which allows you to get bases inside.

The buildings you bought will be EXACTLY to scale, they pride themselves on it. Just looked at the site and the 6mm version of the ones you bought comes as a twin pack, so I do think you have the 10mm stuff.
Not sure about the door disparity, really not like them to let that one through!
But looking out my window at my neighbours houses (to check which bins to put out), all built with 20 years of each other, windows and doors are different sizes, only in the latter 20th Century did people like Welbeck standardize them (and let's not mention uPVC yuck).
Just do what we do, place you troops in front of the building as say 'They are occupying this'.
The windows are filled in as they are easier to mold that way, the bridges are 'pedestrian', but also pre 20th Century road widths (the main Metz-Verdun road across the Gravelotte plateau in 1870 was 12 foot across), where most troops would have marched beside, not on, the road!

I agree that the Time Cast models look very real,  and as I stated in the review, my findings are only for my own style of gaming.  I can easily see how these models do a great job in a different style.  I also think they are nice to look at.  The filled window thing is only a nuisance, of course.

The walls and fences I got from them are all scaled just fine.  The doors seem weird to me, but the windows I'll agree they can differ widely.

These are not the first Time Cast models I bought: I got hangars, houses, and lots of other terrain bits from them.  Mostly they cater just fine for the square inch bases.  That's why I went up and bought several models without checking too precisely: the models were there to see before buying, so I should have been a bit more discerning.

I think the concept behind them is simply different from Fieldworks, who make very basic models that are practical first, and good looking second.

Have you guys ever considered producing/selling buildings with removable roofs? There would be takers, though I have no idea how many. Would it make the model much more expensive?

This is not a request or anything, I'm just curious.

Not really something we've thought about much.  It would require two moulds, but it wouldn't really be that much more expensive to do.  It could actually be cheaper with the savings on resin with hollow houses.

I would heartily endorse Fieldworks buildings for 10mm gaming.

Their catalogue is rather limited - only modern cityscape, and mostly ruins. I'll buy some for the removable floors and so on. But I haven't even heard of any other 'removables' in 10mm.

For your 10mm Prussian town house, AWI farm or anything else with removable roof, you have to scratch-build. It's fun, so I'm not complaining. And there is a fine tutorial for 15mm 'removables' on Youtube by that brilliant Canadian. He's called The Kamloopian. He talks a bit funny, eh? But you can, errr, eh? Tada! You can easily, errr, well, I guess errr, you can adapt his stuff - whoosh! - for 10mm scale, eh?
