Many of you may have seen my blog already, but I thought this painting guide might be useful. While it may be too detailed a process for some, it can be whitled down to produce nice results with less effort, eg, using one coat rather than highlighting.

Thanks for that, can you tell me if the Basetex is similar to the Brushscape paints produced by Coat d'Arms?

fantastic guide - thanks for posting. Your figures look fantastic

I used to use Basetex but started to find it was really difficult to get hold of - so now i tend to use fine sand sprinkled over tile grout.
