Two words: Bruce Weigle. Master of scenery. Demi-god of the 6mm battlefield. We're not worthy !

There are some rare links on the Web that show tables he created. Not made - created. The Vendheaume Little Fighters for instance have a few pics of Weigle accomplishments on their website. Weigle himself doesn't seem to have a website. I'm not even sure he is an ordinary mortal.

Sadly no longer with us - RIP (1958-2013)

"No, I do not have Orcs, Riders of Rohan, Dark Elves, Skaven, Kroot Mercenaries Battle Tech, HeroClix, Gangs of Mega-City One or many-horned f****** genetic-mechanoid arse-faced pigmen from the Purple Pustule of Tharg T bloody M." (Harry Pearson, Achtung Schweinehund!)

Those boards are superb, type of terrain I love but can only dream about.

There is something about 10mm Magister Militum figures, just can't put my figure on it....  :P

Minenfeld

Andy Mac, saw a link on TMP for some of his American and German AWI  figure paintng, absolutely top notch. The Kevin Dallimore/ Mark Allen of 10mm. If I had money I'd hire him and put in our shed, lol. Now where did I put that lottery ticket ?

Minenfeld

I actually emailed Andy for some tips and advice, he was good enough to answer, and is indeed a very nice guy ! :)

Nicofig

Yes, I totally agree. I nice guy and a great painter.

Andy also replays me a long time ago, very nice guy indeed!

Andy is a good guy, he has painted and photographed our entire AWI range, and dropped off some painted figures for us at Triples.  I'll have to get them photographed when I get chance.

Dang it! I knew I shouldn't have clicked on that link. Now it's downloaded me with a virus called "start thinking about another project". :)

My wallet and bank account will have to run a virus scan against my desires to eliminate any thoughts about doing FPW. I'll need to eliminate any mal-ware related to Austro-Prussian war.

OK, so once my current project is finished THEN and ONLY THEN will I start thinking about a mid-19th century European wars project.

Nice pictures by the way.

OK, it didn't work. I had a weak moment and went ahead and purchased the 1870 rules. I was doing so well. I even avoided purchasing another FPW rules set at the local game shop today.
