Hello
With a friend of mine we're searching how to translate "Les guerres de Vendée" or "La guerre de Vendée" in good english.
Wikipedia states https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/War_in_the_Vend%C3%A9e (War in the Vendée) but it sounds weird ( may be I AM weird !  ;D )

How would you write it ?

"War in the Vendée" makes perfect sense to me, though you could also have "The War(s) for the Vendée."

Yep, the War in the Vendee sounds fine to me too. Rob Harpers book on the conflict calls it 'The Great Vendee Rising of 1793' .

War in the Vendee sounds good, give context with either a subtitle or cover illustration.

Context would be the rebellion of Royalist sympathisers
