Got someting in hard back years ago. The same basic system is still used by the Bundeswhere, but dont try to freehand it on anything smaller than 28mm.

These map marking symbols are also included in the German Organisational Series which can be found at the end of the German Section on:

This site is very useful for all WW2 belligerents' OBs down to unit level.
