Our campaign has now lasted for three games more than many wargames campaigns manage - we fought game #4.
AAR here for the battle of Kapolna:

Another cracking scenario Chris and look forward to the book being published :).

Good to see another full sized battle again Chris. I imagine not too difficult to proxie figures for 1848. I have considered it in 10mm as a what if northern European period when Metternich's treaties hit the fan.

Cheers, chaps.

Yes, most of the proxies were easy enough. The trickiest were the Poles - ACW in frock coat and kepi, with a tiny square of card to convert kepi to czapka - and a scratchbuilt rocket launch stand. Fantastic craftsmanship by Richard, as was painting tricolour red-white-green sashes around the waists of 6mm Hungarian officers.

That's a great report. I do like the map-game look .

Very kind of you to say so, thanks, GM. Next game will be a battlemat one as well. (Spring green instead of snow white, though, as it is Isaszeg, 6 April 1849.)
