Such a great character that he portrayed, with Boycie leading to 'Jaffa' entering the language!

A legend for Tottenham fans for sure and a sad loss :(.

A real legend and a very sad loss...only ever saw him play on TV but man he was good.
Though much is taken, much abides; and though
we are not now that strength which in old days
moved earth and heaven, that which we are, we are.

Just too young to have seen him.

But this is a fantastic legacy.

Thanks very much for that Steve H, it is a really good portfolio....don't make many like him these days!

Shows that Spurs CAN actually win trophies...or used to be able to anyway  ;D

Awwww....... :(.......Pants.  :(

Alan Lancaster (72).......the 'original' bassist with Status Quo.

Saw him with the original line up twice, during the 'Piledriver' tour.
The second time I saw them.....it took my ears 2 days to recover.

Phil.

I imagine that I've got the only existing copy (second generation) of that particular tour, on a ten inch reel to reel tape...... :(

The original cassette tape was overwritten by a complete twerp.
:'(

It wasn't me that smuggled in the recorder into the gig. ;)

Cheers - Phil. :)
