OK, I know it's a bit early ... but I received this on Wednesday and was so incredibly touched.

The lady who made it for me asked me in July what my favourite tank was.  That's what you call planning!

Recognisably a Centurion - I think she's used the Tamiya box art.

I take so much pleasure in things that someone has spent the time and energy doing. I was really moved.
This is going to take some beating!

Another day older and deeper in debt?

More seriously, I think I've a load of exciting coffee and some 1/200 P-80's for Blood Red Skies.

Nothing 10mm, sadly.

So far - a back-lit mechanical keyboard from my son in NY. He knows me soooo well!

What I suspect is a box of biscuits from my upstairs neighbours.

A microwaveable heating pad to keep my toes warm in bed this winter - the circulation in my toes is not what it once was :-(

A bag of Elheim 20mm figures to add to my sci-fi RPG collection from a younger couple who had played computer RPGs but couldn't work out how you would translate that to a tabletop. They came round to my place a couple of times early this year and I ran introductory sessions. They are apparently now running a campaign for friends, using Zoom. They posted a Christmas card through my letter box with cash and a note thanking me for the sessions, for the coffee, for the home made scones, the warm welcome and relaxed atmosphere and saying I could spend the cash on anything I wanted but they hoped I'd get some figures that would remind me of them when I was running a game. What? Teared up? No, no .... really .... just ...I .... grit in my eye, honestly. :)
