Alternative(s) to Adobe.

ACDSee, Matthew.....It must be SO old by now.

But it does everything I need it to do.....and stuff on there that I've never ever used.
It works....I'm familiar with it....So I'm more than happy to keep using it.  :)

I'll only have a panic when I get something I can't open without 'Flash'...Then I'll have to sort sommat out. ;)

Looks like there are newer versions of it, though they are paid. I suspect you'll be fine and Flash won't have any impact on it!

As someone who still uses PaintShop Pro 4.12 (released Jan 1997) - and keeps a Windows 2000 virtual machine around just to use it (and a couple of other things) - I absolutely agree with this ;).
