In readiness for some Wars of the Roses battles (and ECW and all things earlier), I have formalised my previous ficticious Dungborough into a unified map, covering the Parish of Piggy Longton.

The blog post describes the landscape and sets the scene for a near future action.

Careful there is a village called Dungworth, at the top of the Loxley Valley, lots of guys with longbows and green cloths there

I live fairly near Dungworth and, as a child, the usual "jokes" about Norfolk were routinely applied to the folk of Dungworth too.
Of course, they now have electricity so things are moving apace.

I really like the idea of playing games through the ages on the same landscape. The map looks well too, especially with the watercolour.
