I actually completed this project pre-lockdown but it's taken sometime to reach the stage where I can take photos.

Anyway here is the Bavarian Army as of 1809, formed in a single corps of three divisions. It's not quite complete, I haven't included the 7th light battalion (Tyrolean Jagers) for instance but kept to the core units.

Some sample pictures below, the full force can be viewed at my flickr page as usual https://www.flickr.com/photos/zippee/albums/72157714099300586

Though much is taken, much abides; and though
we are not now that strength which in old days
moved earth and heaven, that which we are, we are.

Beautiful! Is it 4 bases to a battalion/cavalry regiment?

Thanks all,
just Saxony, Wurttemberg, Baden, Hesse, Warsaw and the rest to do now  ;D

Adam,
yes, initially I had my 10mm Napoleonics based for Lasalle and although things have moved on a bit I've retained the essential basing structure. So most battalions and regiments are 4 bases (although there are a fair few 6 bases units knocking around  - French heavy cavalry and Austrians mostly). Part of me regrets not sticking with my usual 20mm square but I decided not to change things now. That said I have changed the artillery basing and compressed it from the Lasalle style though, now it's one base per battery (20mm frontage per model gun) - I'll go back and redo the French and Austrians eventually... probably when those wurst guns arrive!

That is quite outrageous.

They look amazing, great painting and very nicely based.  The 'march attack' of the infantry conveys the purposeful trudge very well and sabres on the shoulders is probably my favourite cavalry pose, waiting to be committed to the fray.

Well done for creating such a stunning collection.
