They do have dazzle camo, honest!

The BB's came out really nice!  =D>

Quite a fleet you got there!

Thanks chaps.
The fleet consists of all the active capital units for the Med apart from Roma, which only had one run out, and that did not end well. Must get some more destroyers for smaller actions.

Very nice:

I've read that an Italy / France imaginary campaign makes for some nicely balanced actions.

Both nations have supply responsibilities in North Africa.
Both have some rather wobbly land-based air support.

20 x 1/3000th Navwar Marine Nationale (French Navy) ships, mainly for the Force du Raid, cleaned up, 1mm mast locations drilled out and wire masts added where needed.

Whole lot now ready to be painted.

Base labels printed and bases cut out ready for the ships once painted.

To be used in a game next weekend so good motivation to get them completed........nothing like a nice summer cruise in the sunny Med  ;)

Looking forward to a sunny cruise ;) :!!

The storm is raining 15" shells, I'm guessing...

Look forward to seeing the French :)

Could be a rain of 15" shells....but whose? British.....Italian.....even German purhaps (Bismarck was launched in 1939 after all) :- ? I'm keeping quiet about the scenario itself till the weekend as there are decisons to be made by each side before the game that may affect what happens.

Like Techno you'll have to be patient for some pics, only just got the first coat of paint on the ships tonight...still got to paint the decks, ships boats etc, and try to put large but legible flotilla numbers on the bows of 9 contre-torpillieurs.
