Steve J said some kind words about our recent translation of Clausewitz's history of Napoleon's 1796 Italian campaign:

Napoleon's 1796 Campaign by Clausewitz, translated by Murray and Pringle. I'm still in the early stages but once I was used to his writing style, I'm loving the book with the extensive footnotes a real bonus, helping putting his writings and thoughts into context. Highly recommended.

I can now report that the two volumes on the 1799 campaign in Italy and Switzerland are now in press. The first, 'Napoleon Absent, Coalition Ascendant' is scheduled for publication in December:

with the other to follow in early 2021. (These are solid publication dates, as both translations are finished and copyedited, and are now at the proof correction and indexing stage.)

These books are absolutely packed with fascinating battles of all sizes to inspire your tabletop refights.

Excellent

I can use my Austrian troops for this as well as 1796

I just need some 1799 Russians now

Great to see this is nearing completion and good that this sort of thing is being published.
