How big a base does SYW10 carriage need? What if only 2 horses?
I have neither the time or the crayons to explain why you are wrong.

Mine is on an 80x30mm base, which gives about 5 mm spare front and back and a little more at each side (width of model is about 15-16mm).

If you took off the front pair of horses, it would fit on a 60mm base.

Jim

Typical - the counters I am using are 70mm long!

A carriage once cost 17 cents?! Phew, with inflation it would be at least a quarter today!

It'll go on a 60x40 with just the two horses.

I mounted my extra horses on a 40x20 to put up front if required.

Looks liek you've got a fair bit of width - I'm looking at a 60x30 base.

I was just going to take a photo with a 30mm width base so you could see the space when I discovered I'd actually based it on a 60x30mm one (with 20mm extension)!  :-[
