Horses base coated :)

Slight change in plan, Pierre the Shy can't make the game tonight :(
Instead of a four player ancients game we'll have a three player WWII naval game
Completion of the Low Countries army will be delayed by a week :-w

Pierre the Shy delivered the flags he had kindly printed at our regular game last night :)

Flags cut out, edges painted, glued on this morning :) :) :)

Unfortunately the weather forecast is rain and then showers and windy so the Low Countries army may not get varnished until Thursday or Friday :( :-w

Hopefully the cooler temperatures will allow a bit more painting :)

Flags attached to the Low Countries army :)

No varnishing today due to wind and showers/rain :(

Still was pretty hot so only made a start on first colours of key figures :)

Continuing progress on the key French knights, adding detail to the heraldry :)

Started on main clothing colours for the lesser mean at arms :)

Unfortunately getting a bit too hot for any more painting this afternoon

Spray varnished the Low Countries army earlier today :)

Fogged labels and flags have had paint on varnish applied :)

Norm

a lovely balance between the brightness that the scale needs and a very natural look. Nicely done.

Cracking work, once again, Paul !  :-bd

Very nice as usual.....but what is so special about the cheese makers?

  ;)
Though much is taken, much abides; and though
we are not now that strength which in old days
moved earth and heaven, that which we are, we are.
