Yep, not quite sure why, maybe it's needing to wait for the right weather to spray things I've moved mainly to brush undercoat and varnish. But a good spray varnish coat helps to seal in the flock as well as give another layer of protection to the figures.

Yeah that's probably part of it. I did try a brush on varnish for a while but it was just too much work for doing a lot of figures. I tend to use brush on primer myself, or airbrush. I can't generally get aerosols delivered to me so would have to go to a physical shop and to be honest, air/paint brush is handier. Will have to give airbrush varnish a go once my physically purchased can of varnish runs out.

Good stuff - I might have to try printing sashimono and banners for my 15mm Samurai when I get around to doing them.

Thanks Dave. I highly recommend printing the sashimono, they go on very easily, much simpler than decals.

Got some figures based up

Sohei and Samurai

It took an age to do the 8 cavalry. I've got 15 yari armed mounted Samurai in progress, they might take a while to finish...

And some WWI Trailleurs Senegalese

These are a few extras to round out a Regiment for GWSH.

Looking well, bright cavalry, can see how they took a while!

Not quite sure why it has been such a long gap without posting - October was certainly mad busy with work, but not quite sure what happened in September...

Anyway here are the latest additions fantasy monsters to add to my Sengoku Japanese

Fu Dogs and Oni

Oni and Tengu

Figures are from Cromarty Forge. Painted mainly with contrast paints. Gone fairly simple on the paint jobs to take advantage of the detailed sculpts and to reflect the supernatural nature of these.
