I'm sorry Phil, I just could not get past the fact that I felt it didn't look right enough. So ended up repainting them, going to see if I'll just go with a factory gray this time.

Thanks for the tips and heads up everyone, I'll keep you up to date with the progress!

Also Paul, this time I'll try your tip with the sides!

Hey Ho ! Wink

Heck....They're your tanks, Atte.  Smiley

I'm sure they'll look superb, once again.

Look forward to seeing them 'revamped'.

Cheers - Phil

... and yet again Poor Nobby has the cup of hope dashed from his lip.  Sad

Never mind.

Poor Nobby expects little and usually over-estimates.

Ah well.

All is for the best in this best of all possible worlds.

Remember that Panzer Grey is for early war. I think end of 42 was the switch over, though it obviously took a while (though with attrition rates on the Ost Front not sure there was ever a need to repaint Panzers from Grey to Dark Yellow).

Long barrelled StuG in Grey is unlikely, long barrelled Pz IV is possible

Both the figures and the tanks look great. I certainly would not repaint them.

A light wash on the tanks perhaps if your really that bothered, and have too much time on your hands.

Alright, I've got no idea if this could be a plausible camouflage pattern. But I had to spend some time learning how to dab a camouflage pattern with soft edges with a paintbrush, but I'm confident that it's getting better.

What do you guys think? Or shall we go for the 3rd round?

No point in asking yours truly about the camo' pattern, Atte. Embarrassed

They look great to me, though.  Thumbs up

Phil, German crews were issued paint, diluted with petrol , and applied it themselve, presumably with pattern books, but no two would be identical.

Thanks Phil!

Wanted to provide you guys a better view of the Panzer IV, in a better lightning. As I seem to get really saturated pictures depending on where I am in the house.

An interesting fact, Ian.  Smiley

Something that I hadn't even considered, re the camo'.
