With 2019 now behind us it's time to take stock and see what we managed to get done and where we didn't quite achieve what we wanted!

Blitzkrieg Commander IV
The big achievement for 2019 was finally getting the work on BKC-IV all done and the reprinted books sent out to everyone.  This was completed in April and the response from everyone has been excellent.  We'd like to thank all of you again for your patience and support throughout that process.  Since the book was reprinted we've shifted nearly 1200 copies of the rules (hardcopy + pdf combined) which is a great result.  With the support material out there in the from of the QRS, Optional Rules and Errata, as well as the author being present on the Forum to answer any queries, I think we can definitely put this in the Win category!

Kickstarters
Both of our Kickstarter and not-Kickstarter campaigns were completed and shipped in early 2019, so all good on this front.  We did have some plans for a 2nd 28mm Kickstarter in the summer, but unfortunately for us our sculptor was hired by one of the industry's big boys and was immediately put on an exclusive contract, stopping him from doing any more freelance work.  We've temporarily shelved these plans until we can get things sorted there.  There will be another not-Kickstarter on the Pendraken side though, bringing more Naps to your tables, so keep an eye out for details of that in the coming months.

Samurai range
This was planned to be all done and released before Christmas but we sadly ran out of time and haven't got them into master moulds yet.  This is one of the first jobs for 2020 so we should be able to get them done during February.  The Castle Arts buildings are progressing with our resin guy and we'll have the first of those back online ready for the figure range.

TB Line
Progress has been sadly lacking on the TB Line front as well, with only the Teutonics making an appearance in 2019.  The Islamics and Mongols are the two remaining Middle Ages ranges to come online and we should these released around April and July respectively.  The TB Ancient ranges will be a slightly different method as the sculpts are a little older, so I think we'll give the master sculpts a bit of a polish and upgrade before we move to new production moulds.  That adds a bit of time in sculpting, but makes the overall job a lot quicker as we're not having to do as much clean-up on the masters.

New ranges
The other new ranges were all moulded and released as planned, including the Dacians, Sarmatians, Indian Mutiny, WWI railway, V1 ramp, pirates and Vietnam additions!  The only one we missed was the oft-requested French Guard additions, which still need a bit of work.  These will need to be fitted in to the 2020 schedule somewhere instead.

We also added a lot of third-party products in the form of static grasses and scatters from Javis, plastic scenery from Renedra and a variety of painted scenery from Pegasus Hobbies.  We'll continue looking at new product lines through the coming 12 months as well, adding useful items wherever we can.

Website photos
We added around 120 photos to existing codes, including a lot of the WWII vehicles and Polish range, some of the Modern vehicles and then the European Late Medievals as well.  That leaves 1375 codes still awaiting photographs but we are making progress!  There are a lot of ranges out with pro-painters at the moment so we'll be ticking these off asap.

And that's about it for 2019 and the end of a decade!  From 2010-2019 we released a frankly insane 2214 new products to the 10mm market, more than doubling our catalogue in the process.  We'll be doing our best to continue that trend through the 20's but hopefully with a bit more of a schedule and less time spent waiting on releases to appear!  We'll have our 'Plans for 2020' thread up before the end of the week, so keep an eye out for that!
www.pendraken.co.uk - Now home to over 7000 products, including 4500 items for 10mm wargaming, plus MDF bases, Battlescale buildings, I-94 decals, Litko Gaming Aids, Militia Miniatures, Raiden Miniatures 1/285th aircraft, Red Vectors MDF products, Vallejo paints and much, much more!
