Thanks, Peter.  :)

If you can get hold of a 'mid-range' shade, try using that as a background instead.
A white background tends to 'fool the light meter' in the camera (or phone) and underexpose the subject.

Give it a whirl. ;)

You should find that the colours 'pop' more, Peter.

painted some space marine scouts on foot and scouts in a land speeder storm

So adding 12 models, brings the total to 538 models painted!

the tally : about 6235 models are painted and 2161 models are still waiting for love.

ps: pics didn't come out right, but have already tucked them away  ??? ???

looking good!

Could the dark green benefit from a more drastic edge highlighting though? Atleast on the landspeeder as the infantry looks melted together with the vehicle?

They are hevily drybrushed, but the flash seems to drown that out.

Some bits and bobs painted for an online competition

ettin from d&d (not for the competition, just wanted to paint him up)

prussian landwehr in clogs with hayfork

dark angels chaplain

Zure on aerijin, from the tail feathers boardgame

So adding 5 models, brings the total to 553 models painted!

the tally : about 6250 models are painted and 2146 models are still waiting for love.

OldenBUA

So, four models counting as five.

It's because:

The Ettin has two heads.

The landwehr chap has a large pitchfork.

The chaplain has a front and back.

The flyer is a rider and mount.

Votes please.
