Sadly a virus hit during our final week at work so I've been out of action since then.  Managed most of Christmas day and Boxing day but back to bed last night and still rotten today.  Hopefully it'll have buggered off by New Year.

It does seem to be a fairly annual occurrence these days.  I always wonder if it's due to us not taking any time off during the year, so the bugs just sit and wait until we finally get some free time, and then bang!

Leon, my wee one's down with croup and/something similar viral, it's hit loads. Even better the t'other half has now caught it so I'm unlikely to avoid it either! Unfun but wildly common this year

No....It's a 'narnia' the size of a tennis ball.

I think it partially 'strangliated' (sic) yesterday....'Cos I just could not push the sod back in, and it was getting more and more painful by the minute.

I just feel rather battered and fragile, this morning.
