Apart from the Dark Age pack, I am not aware of any suitable civilian figures to populate a settlement...and act as 'booty' for the slave raiding  which was a very important incentive for much ancient warfare. Of course, dress would differ with location and period, but some figures in long dress, short dress, children in a 'tunic' or 'old woman' could be fairly generic. Poses...just standing...awaiting developments or holding hands...nothing dramatic or task specific. Might not be a big seller..but, there are the 'live stock' sheep, geese, etc...so why not some people to look after them?

Could the Mongol camp followers be any use as proxies, HH ? (MON 12)

I think these would work:

Indian Mutiny range - MUT24

1882 - 1885 Egypt Sudan - SC13

Thanks for ideas, gents. Mongols, Mutiny and Sudan all have odd figures which could be proxied. There is also a small pack of Squaws in Plains War. Some figs could be used or converted. Will have to consider...and, unfortunately, I am not able to actually DO anything with stuff at the present time. Just thought I'd put in a suggestion as I think some could be useful.   :)
