Alexander - checked with Steve Oates last night - not on sale for a couple of months but he is doing the long ship in 10mm, just making the production molds. Mind you given his normal oractice it will be next century before you find em in the Baggage Train Catalogue. !

Thanks, everyone. A truly Viking response to the call to get a boat in the water!
I don't drink coffee to wake up. I wake up to drink coffee.

I printed one anyway... No Vikings handy so I posed a couple of PD Normans for scale.

Note that this is one of the magical Longships used by Magnus Barelegs to 'sail' over the Mull of Kintyre at Tarbert ('Tarbert' = 'Boat Pull') in accordance with King Malcolm III's law that they could have any place they could sail round if they left the rest of Scotland alone.

It's lifted off the surface on it's oars, if you haven't noticed...  :D

I am really impressed with that !!

I'm reprinting the sail - it looks fine, but the back surface - which was the LOWER surface when printing - is a mess, as normal for FDM printing - the support structure never leaves a clean, smooth surface.

Wow that looks great

Take care
