Steven Thomas (of Balagan.info) is developing a set of grand-tactical rules for the Thirty Years War. They are available for free download from Steven’s blog at https://balagan.info/download-tillys-very-bad-day-fast-play-rules-for-the-30-years-war

Some commentary on my own blog at https://doctorphalanx.blogspot.com/search/label/Tilly%27s%20Very%20Bad%20Day

General Hopton is on a roll today, men. The Roundhead traitors are in a worse jam than they know. Sergeant, beef up those pikemen a bit. And lettuce remember our duty to our king! Three beers for His Majesty!

Version 2 of TVBD is now available. This is a mature version with lots of new tweaks and improvements, but the core rules maintain their original fast-play simplicity.
