An end to tiny helicopter blues.

Gentlemen.

I may have found the answer to my tiny helicopter (and 10mm prop plane) problem. I found on Amazon some clear round stickers (100 for £1.40). I stick two together, pierce a hole in the middle and voila! Rotors.

Took some piccies on my phone, but they're ... not good.

Sounds good, but I can see the gum twixt the two layers picking up fluff etc... plus, they look "floppy", not rigid.

My solution to the props on aircraft is to completely remove them. But I can see that might look good on a helicopter.

Putting two together they're not rigid, but flexible. They seem to hold their shape well.

Aye, but I yearn for some indication of whirring airscrews.

There must be some form of clear plastic/acetate (of a suitable thickness) sheeting that can be cut to the right size with compass cutters......

Isn't there ?

I'll bet there's something suitable, made by whoever makes  the plasticard sheets

If you can find something 'cuttable', Nobby.... you can have my compass cutters.....They're just sitting in a drawer doing bog all.
I can't remember if I've ever even used them. :o
