Ingredients
Roll of puff pastry
Red pesto
Grated cheese

Lay out pastry sheet "landscape"

Spread pesto over pastry, leaving a uncovered strip along the top.

Cover with the cheese, again laving a strip

From the bottom roll up tightly, and use the uncovered strip to seal it closed.

Cut into slices about 1cm wide.

Place on greaseproof paper on baking tray.

Cook until golden brown - see pastry box for instructions. Takes approx 20 mins.

Described by Sunjester as "methadone on a plate".
I have neither the time or the crayons to explain why you are wrong.

They are pretty amazing, pinwheels I always knew them as, though usually with crispy diced bacon and cheese filling rather than pesto  =P~

Note that needs to be a whole 200g pack of Grana Padano, or similar. I'm going to try it out with Stilton, caramelised onion chutney and crushed walnuts next.

This was done last night. Mrs SJ threatened me, so I told she wouldn't get any.  First time I've seen her back down immediately.
